I have been passionate about helping others for as long as I can remember.
I graduated from Catholic University with a BSN and worked at VCU in the Neuroscience Unit and Surgical Trauma ICU for 7 years. During that time, I realized that mental health profoundly impacts all aspects of medicine and healing. Grief, trauma, violence, substance abuse, and family dynamic greatly affected patient care. I went back to school, and in 2012, I graduated with a Master’s in Psychiatric Nursing. Since, that time, I have been fortunate to work in a field I truly adore. I started as a provider at the Henrico Jail, then I worked in skilled nursing facilities and inpatient psychiatric hospitals. For a brief year, I worked from home doing tele-psych for clients in the Appalachian Mountains who would otherwise not be able to receive mental health care. I recently joined the Zoe Therapy Services and have loved working with the clients and other members of the team. My experience has allowed me to treat a variety of clients ranging from teens to older adults with a multitude of diagnoses.
I am a wife and mother to three children and a red lab. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing tennis and running.
